GOD'S CREATION AND ALL ITS BEAUTY

I was able to take this picture out our back window last week. What an amazing reminder of God's creation and all His glory.

LIVING HISTORY FARMS

Brother with his friends during their visit to Living History Farms.

Thrashing wheat.

Candle dipping.

Grinding apples for juice.

Brother loved the pigs!

Working as a blacksmith.

Brother loves books - he truly could sit for hours and just listen to me read to him. It is amazing to me how he can keep his energy contained during these precious times of reading. He listens so intently.

FUN AT JESTER PARK

FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL

We actually did the entire alphabet in pancake batter.

Our first science project - Wormery. It is now the centerpiece on our table.

Floating paper boats.

Part of our letter town. We had a ton of kleenex boxes that we have been able to make houses, a church, fire station, office buildings, etc. Brother decided the soup cans would be trash cans.

PUMPKIN CARVING IN AUGUST

We truly did carve a pumpkin in August. Many of our pumpkins are ready to harvest and this one came extra early so we carved the sun.

OUR ENERGETIC 5-YEAR OLD

Brother is soon to be six and is full of energy. He is enjoying learning and meeting new friends. He is definitely his Daddy's best buddy as you often find the two of them "working" on Daddy's truck in the garage. He is a huge help with Sister and loves to play with her.

Great action shot off Great Grandma's couch!

Brother learned to "swim" this year - we were so proud of him as he faced his fear of submerging his head and took courage. Now he loves the water and dives under to pick things up.

We had a great time camping a couple of times this summer and spending time with close friends!

Brother loves going boating!

One of 2 teeth lost this summer - both were swallowed...no kidding!

Brother loves playing doctor...and patient.

OUR PRECIOUS BABY GIRL

Sister is now 10 months old. Amazing how much they change over that period of time. She is very near to walking and has two bottom teeth and one top front tooth that came in yesterday. She is learning some signs and has really found her "voice" and her personality continues to show.

This is just a small collection of photos of Sister from the past few months. She is changing and moving constantly. She keeps us on the move and smiles on our faces.

Sister has a ton of hair - this is a post-nap picture from a few days ago.

She is climber.

Again, climbing...climbing...

Hello!!

Independent eater - refused all forms of "baby food" has to be able to pick it up or won't eat it.

Can you say...too cute! She is a ham and loves having her picture taken.
