Yes, that is mud...and lots of it. The kids decided to create a mud pit to play in and covered themselves in it. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of Daddy taking the hose to them when he got home.

| Spending time indoors also kept us cool this summer. We spent some time at the Science Center and the kids had the opportunity to be on the weather at noon. |

| This is baby sister's wide eyes for getting her picture taken. Always ready for the bright flash. |
| Launching rockets. |
| Fun in the bubbles. |
| We always enjoy boating, but honestly many days it was just too hot for it. We decided to brave the heat on July 4th and take the boat out and try to stay cool in the canopy and spent a little bit of time in the water, unfortunately, the water was not very clean so we didn't stay in too long. |
| Little bit of fishing. |
| We found a great little cove with a sandy area just the right size for us to dock at and play for a bit. The water at the main beach was no clean at all so this was a great alternative. |
| After a long, sweaty day at the lake. CRAZY hair!! |
| The kids enjoyed spending some time with their cousins on the slip and slide. |
| Ice blocks with toys frozen inside were a great outdoor activity. The kids used spray bottles, rocks, and small hammers to chip away the ice in an effort to free their toys. |
