One thing our little girl discovered this summer was her ability and love of swinging...from anything.

Sister also discovered corn on the cob - this was earlier in the summer, now she gets a whole ear to herself.

Vacationing in South Dakota

These are just a few pics from our South Dakota trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa W and Uncle Lance. It was a fun relaxing time and great weather to be outside.

Daddy took Brother night crawler hunting late one evening and he literally had a bucket of worms to show for it - here he is trying to determine which worm is fastest.

Fishing/Boating in June

We spent a lot of time as a family just fishing at the pond near our house - just a block away. The kids really enjoyed this...as did Daddy : )

This was Brother's biggest catch of the season. We caught many fish out of this pond, but this one by far surpassed the others in size.

One thing we all really enjoy is taking the boat out and playing on that beach. We didn't get to do it nearly as much as we would have hoped, but had a lot of fun on the times we were able to go out.

Sister (and brother) both love to drive the boat with Daddy. It gets really exciting when they actually steer the boat around the lake.

Yep - that is my daughter...soaking up the rays...in the mud!

We had a pre-Easter dinner with the Core Family on Saturday. Brother, Sister and cousin A had fun doing an Easter egg hunt.

California Trip

We had an amazing trip to California in April. We traveled with Grandpa and Grandma Core and also had Aunt Leah from AZ join us for most of our trip. We visited Uncle Dick, and Aunt Eleanor and were able to spend time with many of their family members. We also enjoyed a trip to Yosemite National Park where we received lots of snow and a fun trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium. The kids had a ton of fun!

Sister really does enjoy putting most everything on her head - I have tons of pictures of her with hats, bowls, bloomers, etc. on her head - really anything that will fit and stay there.

Sister thought this was great to have brother trapped. From the look on Brother's face he was enjoying it as well.

Sister loves food - almost any kind of food and really wants to feed herself. She is usually covered by the time mealtime is finished. Sometimes the hands just work better.

February Pics

February was filled with lots of playing in the snow and digging tunnels in the big snow piles in our front yard while they lasted.


Sister really enjoyed being pulled around on the sled and kept pulling it out of the garage even when the snow had all melted.



Snow...water...what is the difference - our kids love to be outdoors.
