IT'S BIRTHDAY TIME

Saturday was my birthday party with all my family. It was so much fun. I am now 4 - an official big boy. My mommy made me a construction cake and we had construction decorations everywhere. We played games like wrecking ball and tossing a ball through a big tower mommy and daddy built out of boxes. I got all sorts of presents too - things to build with, drive, read, wear, and shoot - yes, my uncles have determined I need shooters to play with.

Always have to wear safety googles when using a chainsaw.

I believe I can fly.....

On Sunday, we celebrated my official birthday. Mommy made me another special cake that I was able to "dig in to". I used my loader to scoop up cake into my dump truck and then onto the plates. I was pretty much covered with cake and frosting when it was all over - but it was a blast.

CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF JESUS

I just love this time of year as we get to spend a ton of time with family and give each other gifts to open. Mommy and Daddy made sure that we took time to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and on Christmas Eve we took some time to sing Jesus Happy Birthday!
We had three Christmas gatherings and spent time with our family. We had a lot of fun playing, laughing, and eating...

I put myself in a box - Mommy's favorite present.
Christmas day was spent at home with Grandma and Grandpa Apple. The day just flew by, but we had alot of fun playing with all my new toys and enjoying some time outdoors.
I got a great loader for digging in dirt and sand which is one of my favorite things to do. We were able to put it in the snow on Christmas Day.

This is my new shirt that I got - it is so cool - I love Spiderman - however, I just keep growing too fast and the sleeves were already too short - even though it is a size bigger than what I am already wearing. I grew a 1/2 inch in two months. I am almost as big as my daddy. I will be four in a few days - watch me grow!

On Friday we spent the afternoon and evening at Great Grandma and Grandpa Apple's house - it was so much fun and always plenty to eat.

Hanging out with my cousin A. We love to chase eachother around and play with the farm equipment at Great Grandpa's house. Dad used to play with the same farm equipment when he was little like me.

Grandpa Apple is so fun - he lets me jump off the furniture - Mommy was in the kitchen so she didn't know what we were doing. For some reason, she doesn't think I should jump off the couch at home. It is not like I will get hurt or anything...

Saturday we had the McDonald Christmas and my cousin's S, T, M, and K came over to play with me. Me and M got matching Curious Georges. He sleeps with me every night now.

This is my favorite snow buddy - he never goes away!

ON STAGE...

These are pictures of me singing at church on Sunday with the rest of the kids in my Sunday school class. Mommy said I did a great job. I also sang in our Christmas program at school this week, but Mommy and Daddy haven't figured out how to upload video. I was dressed up as one of the wisemen.

CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS

Daddy's been busy working alot these days with all the snow we are getting, but Mommy and I are keeping ourselves entertained by cooking, playing outside, and playing with playdough - a favorite past time of mine recently. My Grandma Apple made this playdough for me almost a year ago and it still works great.

DADDY'S BIRTHDAY

We celebrated Daddy's birthday this week - I got to help him open presents, we made him a yummy cookie and decorated it, and we enjoyed Frosty's - YUM, YUM.

December Start...

This is my dog Lily - she is super soft and loves to get attention.

Mommy and I worked on getting the Christmas tree decorated the weekend after Thanksgiving - it is the first year of having a real Christmas tree. I was really careful because everything is so breakable. Mommy had to help put up some of the decorations up top and Daddy had to put the star on for the final touch.

I am a chef, with my chef hat on and grin. I just love to make pancakes on Saturday mornings.

SNEEK PEAK

We had a great time a couple of weekends ago having our family pictures taken. It was a blast. We got to play in the leaves and then there was the dirt and the water - you know what that equals - LOTS OF FUN! My mommy's friend from church took our pictures. She does an amazing job.

To see more of her pictures go to http://www.franczykphotography.blogspot.com/.

I keep hearing mommy say she is having a hard time deciding which pictures she likes the best. I think she has it condensed to her top 30. I mean come on, as cute as I am, what did you expect...

I was a fireman this year for Halloween. We went and visited Grandma and Grandpa and then stopped by the fire station to see if there was anything I could do to help. They offered to let me climb into the truck and police car, but I just said, "No Thanks".

I also got to wear my costume to school on Friday and one of my teachers asked me if I could help her get her cat out of the tree. I said, "No". When she asked why not, I said, "Because I don't have my firetruck with me today." She understood then why I would not be able to assist her.

HIDE AND GO SEEK WITH GRANDPA - OH WHAT FUN

GRANDPA WAS HERE FOR QUITE AWHILE WHILE I LOOKED FOR HIM - I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS SO FLEXIBLE.

No professional pictures at this time...The wind was a bit much last weekend...
